A Great invention: The Energy-Harnessing Soccer Ball

The Soccket is not a standard soccer ball; actually it is really un-ordinary. This new technology produces energy through soccer. It functions by using the kinetic energy exerted once the ball gets kicked it around. Half an hour of play is equal to about three hours of energy that is provided to an attachable LED light. The concept for the Soccket originated from two young entrepreneurs, Jessica O. Matthews and Julia Silverman, who saw that soccer is considered the most popular sport in the world and that there has to be a method to take advantage of that kinetic energy and store it for those who live in less developed places. Soccket is a product of Uncharted Play.
